Fr. Mikhail Celebrates His Silver Holy Thursday Liturgy in ClevelandThursday, April 8, 1999Fr. Mikhail E. Mikhail celebrated his 25th Holy Thursday Divine Liturgy in Cleveland this year. Fr. Mikhail arrived in Cleveland in April 1975 and the first Divine Liturgy that he celebrated here was on the occasion of Holy Thursday, which commemorates the Last Supper Our Lord celebrated with His disciples. Congratulatory remarks were made by Mr. Ahdy G. Mansour and Dr. Fawzy G. Estafanous, both founding members of Cleveland's Coptic community. Also present were several members of the congregation who were present at Fr. Mikhail's first Liturgy in Cleveland in 1975. This event was the first of many to come this year which will highlight the celebrations for Fr. Mikhail's Silver Jubilee of his Priestly Ordination. The Silver Jubilee banquet will be held on Sunday, August 22, 1999 and will be blessed with a special visit of H. H. Pope Shenouda III.
